Nice, but the "artist" missed the mark!

The first thing I noticed after pulling the ornament out of the box was Jabba's hookah...or lack thereof. I don't even understand why the "artist" would included something like this that is so obviously flawed and bears no resemblance to the object it's supposed to be. It looks more like a spit bowl. It would have also been nice if there were a sheet included that translated the phrases. All things considered...pretty weak...

Always great service

As always, Steve’s is quick and has everything I’m looking for! I couldn’t find this at a local Hallmark, but found it here. Can’t wait to gift it to my child!

Definite conversational piece, but could be better

Overall, this ornament is interesting due to its animated capabilities. It is similar in nature to the first Star Wars animated ornament in 2020 of Yoda. It's motion is somewhat limited to the eyes and mouth/belly moving along with recorded voices of Jabba speaking in his native language from the ROTJ movie. Granted, Jabba is primarily a sedentary creature, it would have been interesting to see additional simple movements like Jabba's tail move or Salacious Crumb move while laughing, but that might have resulted in higher cost (In addition to this ornament's already impressive price tag) or increased ornament size to accommodate additional motion components. Like some "magic" Hallmark Keepsake ornaments, it relies on 3 AAA batteries which seems burdensome and added weight to this ornament. Would love to see future types of such ornaments work directly with Keepsake Power Cords to allow easier year to year usage rather than relying on purchasing, storing and changing out batteries over time (which can be quite a challenge if you have an entire collection of Keepsake Ornaments from years past). While it has some limitations, it is the second of the early generation animated Star Wars Keepsake ornaments to be released with hopefully more and more improvements to future animated ornaments in the coming years with improved technology. Given the somewhat limited motion and the requirement of 3 AAA batteries, I give it a 4 out of 5 stars. Overall, it is definitely a conversational piece for your tree given its animated qualities and a keeper for the Star Wars ornament collector.
